[:en]The journey begins visiting the Parque Centenario devoted to the independence and freedom of the old city from the Spanish colonization. It continues to visit the famous and historic Barrio Las Peñas; the original and only surviving colonial district of the city with more than 400 years of existence. Visitors will through narrow streets and colorful houses going up 444 steps headed to the top of the Santa Ana Hill between bars and restaurants. Once it the top, there will be fantastic panoramic views of the city and the Guayas River.

The Botanical Garden is an extensive natural area, where various plant species and trees are located for preservation and educational purposes. Among the tropical flora, we will be able to see the various species of orchids, medicinal plants, and tropical trees, some endemic to this Ecuadorian region. The visit will be a walk through different ecosystems that are also home to different species of birds, butterflies, and other animals such as capuchin and squirrel monkeys. There will be also the chance to go up a viewpoint to have a panoramic view which includes the Babahoyo and Daule river.[:es]El viaje comienza visitando el Parque Centenario dedicado a la independencia y la libertad de la ciudad vieja de la colonización española. Continúa visitando el famoso e histórico Barrio Las Peñas; el distrito colonial original y único superviviente de la ciudad con más de 400 años de existencia. Los visitantes atravesarán calles estrechas y coloridas casas subiendo 444 escalones hacia la cima de la colina de Santa Ana, entre bares y restaurantes. Una vez que llegue a la cima, habrá fantásticas vistas panorámicas de la ciudad y el río Guayas.

El Jardín Botánico es un área natural extensa, donde varias especies de plantas y árboles se encuentran con fines de preservación y educación. Entre la flora tropical, podremos ver varias especies de orquídeas, plantas medicinales y árboles tropicales, algunos endémicos de esta región ecuatoriana. La visita será un paseo por diferentes ecosistemas que también albergan diferentes especies de aves, mariposas y otros animales como los monos capuchinos y ardillas. También habrá la posibilidad de subir a un mirador para tener una vista panorámica que incluye el río Babahoyo y Daule.[:]
