Our journey will lead us to the Anakonda Amazon Cruise, where we will be warmly welcomed aboard.

Kayaking in the Amazon

AM: Pañacocha Lake.

We will head downriver to the Pañayacu River delta, where a canoe will be waiting for us to take us to Piranha Lagoon, also known as Pañacocha Lake in the native Kichwa language. It is an ecosystem flooded by black, river water.

The nearby rainforest is a sanctuary for various animals such as primates, birds, piranhas, Paíche or pirarucu (one of the world’s largest freshwater fish), white caimans, and many other aquatic creatures. Our guided walk will offer us the chance to observe these animals in their natural habitat.

PM: Back on board.

We will then take a moment to recharge with a barbecue made Amazon-style at a community camp. We will have a brief break, and then we will engage in water-based activities like kayaking and swimming. Once back onboard, our guides will enrich our understanding of the region with an interesting and informative talk.
